Runtai's Environmental Impact Statement for resin project published.
According to Article 20 of the Measures for Public Participation in Environmental Impact Assessment (Ministry of Environmental Protection Order No. 4), it is mandated that “Before submitting the environmental impact report to the competent department of ecological environment for approval, the construction unit shall publicize the full text of the environmental impact report to be submitted for approval and the public participation explanation through the network platform.” In line with this regulation, Shandong Runtai New Materials Co., Ltd. is conducting the third public participation information publicity regarding its project, which involves the production of 800,000 tons of urea formaldehyde resin and 150,000 tons of phenolic resin annually (Phase I). This initiative aims to ensure that the local community, particularly those in areas potentially affected by the project, is well-informed about the project’s details and implications. By disseminating this information, the company seeks to foster transparency, allowing the public to express their attitudes and suggestions regarding the project. This process not only encourages community engagement but also facilitates public oversight, ensuring that the project aligns with environmental standards and community interests. The public’s feedback is invaluable in shaping the project’s development and addressing any concerns that may arise.
